Not sure what kind of point you are asking...or making.
As pointed out earlier, Tony Blair is the Prime Minister of Great Britain.
And while GB might be a smaller country (in land mass) and a smaller standing army, it is still a very powerful and intelligent nation.
I might add that were it not for our friends across the drink (a.k.a. Atlantic Ocean), we folks here in America probably would have been attacked by terrorists several times over the past few weeks.
Thanks, my British friends!
I lift a pint of bitters in your honor!
God save the Queen (and God, please help President Bush make some intelligent choices for a change!).

That makes no sense whatsoever. Why would a smaller country with a "cool" leader (PM in the UK's case) be better than the US?
You're criteria for comparison has no relevance....there are so many more aspects for one to judge if a place is better than another and highly dependent on what a given person values.

You have it wrong Al C: Tony Blair is Prime Minister of GB not President. However, you might be pre-empting the fact that he will probably become head of the United Nations in a year or two when he gives up his Premiership.............

Aside from the one factual inaccuracy pointed out above (President vs. Prime Minister), that's a perfectly valid opinion.
And whether I agree with you or not, you have every right to express that opinion.

Most Americans have an infatuation with the GB, without actually understanding anything about its culture. They think everyone speaks "posh", eats crumpets, and drinks tea. In fact, it's hilarious how ignorant people are. They have absolutely no wordly knowledge whatsoever.
But yes, Americans think GB is very "cool" as you put it.
