does your town have roadwork phases like chesterfield does?

about five years ago it was speed bumps, last year it was mini roundabouts and this year its traffic lights and most of these things dont need to be where they have been put and hold up traffic even more.

does anywhere else have these useless roadworks?

Decorate the traffic lights (like it's Christmas!)

Yes Edinburgh, the road repairs have been neglected for years, the council just spent money on useless bus lanes, speed bumps, one way streets,no right turn, no left turns, no straight on, etc etc. Plus a plethora of signs which you can't see for more signs. Now they've decided to repair all the potholes and road damage at once, there must be a road works on every second street, which means that it takes about 30 minutes to travel a mile and a half in town. Speed bumps are a total waste of money as the traffic is nose to tail anyway. Bus lanes are useless as they stop and start every 100 yards or so. No-one has told the council that to work, they should be continuous. Dont come here in a car!!!!!!!!!1You'll reget it!

the council are run by Muppet's who panic at the end of the year and spend all the money they have left other wise they will get less they get less the next year. much like ppl at Christmas. stupid i know but cant be helped intelligent ppl work for a living so u dont get them on any level of government
