Hippocrates: Let thy food be thy medicine and thy medicine be thy food. Do you think that all our Medical Doctors are true to this oath today?

Md's have very little or no studies in nutrition. You might call it a very real 'conspiracy theory' and in some ways we're still in the dark ages!

Think of the thousands of billions of dollars the 'health industry' makes now, and how much they'd loose if people didn't get sick! I know this may sound strange: breakfast cereal is NOT good for people, especially kids. Why don't doctors tell us that?

Well, considering we don't take that oath today, probably not. Besides, Hippocrates did not have all the drugs we have or all the knowledge of diseases. If you would like to complain please attend 4 years of medical school, and then say that we need proper nutrition training. Also, thats what dietitians are for.

Allopathic doctors are trained to treat disease, not to prevent it. Nutrition is primarily aimed at prevention. I know it is wrong, backwards, and unhealthy, but that's the way it is.
