I've never had this problem before. I've tried all different types of deoderant. Scented, non scented. Different brands. Nothing is helping. I've had to wash my underarms in the middle of the day and reapply just to try to control it. It's not a body odor smell though. It's very upsetting. I'm going out of my way for people not to notice it. Please help if you have any suggestions, besides seeing a doctor. ($$$)

You didn't say if you were using an anti-persperant or not. I am a guy, and if I use regular deoderant, of course I still sweat (and whether it smells or not, I am uncomfortable). If I use anti-persperant that is ALSO a deoderant, then I don't sweat OR smell. If you haven't tried anti-persperant, try that first.

I've always heard that when people sweat, the moisture causes bacteria that was already there to let off the odors that people smell...so maybe its possible theres still some bacteria there causing the odor. You may also try an anti-bacterial body wash, just to see if that helps.

Good luck!

Try Dove

If not Dove, I know some women who actually use men's deodorants, they seem to work better than women's.

If all else fails, mix a spray can deodorant with a solid. (make sure they're the same brand and scent, don't walk around smelling like flowers and baby powder lol)

here are a couple of things you can try: try buying men deorante. for some reason at least to me (i am a woman) they seem to get rid of the smell of underarm better and sometimes they are more afortable.
also there is a deorante which pharmacy sells which is made just of mineral water or the minral rock. . for some reason women who had had to go thru chemo for cancer treatments, can only use this kind of deorante.
also after you take a bath and dry off, pull talc under your underarm, it will help retain moisture.

My sister has the same issue, and she uses Men's Deoderant. Try the Men's Liquid Deoderants, they work for her!

Are you buying just deodorant? Or just antiperspirant? Try finding a brand-either men or ladies that is both and not just one. Antiperspirant and deodorant. I know this may sound stupid, but a lot of people only buy one or the other. Not both.
