I don't.
I think they should just have their winkies cut off and then be tagged. Make em suffer.

Rape is a terrible crime, but is it really worth capital punishment? By executing rapists you would send the message that no other crime is worse- that if a woman or man is raped, they might as well have been murdered. Surely capital punishment has to be reserved for the most extreme of cases. I remember Germaine Greer caused a controversy a few years back by seeming to suggest that rape isn't the worst thing that can happen to someone, and that you can get over it in time, with help. As a man, even I think I would rather be date raped than attacked at random by some junkie, and left paralysed from the neck down, or have my child kidnapped and murdered. Sorry to be so morbid, but it is a very serious subject. I just hope none of us ever actually goes through any of this. Lastly, if you have been assaulted yourself, and you need to talk to somebody, I'm sure the Samaritans will help.

I think killing them would be the easy way out.
If proven guilty they should be sent to prison and get the maximum sentence. The prison cell should be a bland, cold room with a hard mattress on the bed with no TVs/CD players etc. Prison seems to be a life of luxury nowadays. I've heard stories of people re-offending just to get back into a comfy prison.
When they get out the neighbourhood should be made aware that there is a rapist and what he looks like. Never mind any of this Human Rights Act crap. They violated someones rights by raping them so all of theirs should be taken away.
If the mob get them then so be it. They deserve that.
Innocent until proven guilty. The justice system is a shambles, always has been, always be.

First you have to define "rape" and determine the rules for proving it.
As you know, the Saudis and the Iranians execute rapists quite readily. The victim, not the accused, gets the benefit of the doubt, although female witnesses alone aren't given much credence. The point is that they would rather execute the innocent than let the guilty go free.
If you're in Europe, though, capital punishment is forbidden under the European Convention on Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms protocol, and also under EU law. So forget about implementing your proposal, say, in Britain.

I don't think anything justifies killing another person. It makes you worse than them. They do however deserve to have their bits chopped off and they should be locked up for a very long time. It seems that in the replies already, people are assuming that women make this up. This is a very small minority (if any) and it takes alot of courage to stand up for yourself when something so horrific has happened. It seems that the state is too ready to believe women are lying and that they should be punished for being raped.

i agree with u 100%
a rapist is worse than a murderer
- they kill u but u still live so u have to deal with the pain and horror that they inflicted on u
- they can get u pregnant and u still have to deal with that and have it as a horrible reminder for the rest of ur life

dont know about killing them because of false accusations but i do think that there should be stricter guidelines regarding registering as sexual predator and such just like child molesters....however i dont think that posting signs should be enough..i think there should be a town meeting with the predator having to announce his immorality/crime....and hell in our town if you steal you have to walk in front of the store you stole from or in front of the courthouse all day with a sign around your neck saying that you stole...i'm so glad i dont steal...i would be so mortified!....so i think rapists should have to do the same thing if convicted

And you think killing rapists will stop attacks? Rape only destroys if you let it...We need strong prison sentences and strong leadership to enforce it instead of wimps of judges and liberal do gooders wringing their hands and pleading about human rights

Killed is a bit strong, but without doubt a serious sentence should go with it i.e LIFE. I am a man and detest anyone who could sink that low. Also believe their name (accused) should not be revealed till convicted.

Oh, oh, oh, I do pick me, pick me!
I can see what could lead up to a life of drug use, robbing a bank, stealing, or even killing someone (catching someone in bed with your spouse, someone hurting your child etc).
But rape is just a vicious crime of hate and sleaze.
Those people don't deserve to suck air, their victims are victims for LIFE,,, why should they get to live on?
P.S. to the "false accusation crowd" make sure they are guilty before you snuff them.
