2002 nissan altima check engine light is on, computer says IDLE SYSTEM ?

I notice the car revs up 1 rpm when in park( that's the idle), but how to correct the problem. My reserch show i need a resister by the spark plug. Were do I get the resister from?

An auto parts store, but if the engine light is on you better NOT be driving it except maybe to be repaired. It is dangerous to your engine! Warning1 Warning!
