Just imagine this.....
(Assuming its the weekend or you had off, and nobodys home, and doing the following for no reason but of you being a bum that day)
If you were laying on the floor eating your favorite snack, starring at the ceiling in the middle of the floor in your living room, with whatever pj's or clothing concoction you have thrown on, and your hair all messy, and nothing was done around the house, and all the tv's were turned on and yahoo answers on your computer screen, and its 5:00pm, and the front door opened and your girl/boyfriend-Wife/husband-or parents walked in, and said what the ......, what would your excuse be.

It's my day off....and if I choose to do nothing....then I believe I have earned it. I work all week...do my chores each and every day...and I really felt like doing NOTHING today....
After all....what can they say or do at this point...other than to get over it. What is done or NOT done is the way it is...right?

I would say I am performing a cleansing ritual to rid myself of my flu-like symptoms, where I had to have as much commotion going on around me as possible.

i would tell them that it is my day off and if you don't like it you can cram it where the sun doesn't shine, and if that isn't good enough I'd tell them to get bent, I do the housework 99%of the time anyways!!! I deserve one day to be grungie

no excuse just offer them up a chip and tell them to grab a piece of carpet, they can think what they want I'd be to lazy and mellow to care one way or the other.

I wouldn't have to explain myself. It's my weekend off and I'm free to be lazy if I want.
