I understand that little kids shouldn't watch/play the bad video games, tv shows, movies, and other stuff... But why do some of these parents want to take it away for everyone else? If they don't want their kids to watch/play that crap then why don't they just block it on tv and not buy the video games for them. I don't think it's right to want to take it away all together. It seems like everything now is for just little kids.

It's 'cause parents want to be friends not parents. The kids won't like me if I say no so I will get the government to do it for me.They want to be the cool parent.

It's a PC world - people take it too far. It's like the ages old Stern debate - if you don't like him, don't listen - but these dumb a&&s argue that it's their freedom to listen to that channel - i just don't get it??? We are going to have rules/regs for everything like USSR one of the days if it keeps up! Also - people are lazy - don't like to take responsbility for THEIR OWN actions and would rather or find it easier to blame others.

They blame everyone else for their failure to discipline and view what their children are doing. It is easier to go out in a movement with signs and petitions than it is to look their own children in the eye and say NO.

I have a child of my own, and I don't subject him to what I think is wrong. Nor am I screaming at the corporations to stop production or sales of their product.

Because they are lazy and would rather not have to do their job of parenting.
