It depends. If you don't go, then you'll most likely have a pretty ugly looking scar there for the rest of your life. On the other hand, if you don't care about the scar, and your arm still works, then you'll be fine.
If it gets worse in any way (turns different colors, hurts a lot, etc...) get it checked out right away. A cut in itself is harmless, but an infection could kill you.

It looks a bit deep..
If you dont want to go to the doctor to get stitches, I suggest you go get Butterfly Bandages from the nearest Pharmacy. Try Rite Aid or Walgreens. What those bandaids do is that they kinda hold the skin together so it would heal faster...BUT do that only if you want a very visible mark there forever.
If you dont want the mark just get stitches. No biggie. Good luck and hope it heals well!
Oh yeah make sure you keep it clean. Cuts cant kill, but infections do. ;)

If it is clean and the edges come togather and stay with butterfly closures, and use some antibiotic ointment you may not need to go.If you can't get it clean and to stay closed go to dr. Also how long ago did it happen? Keep it coved and when healed enough to uncover use vitamin e oil on it 3-4 times a day to reduce scaring

If the skin is healing over and there is no sign of infection I'd let it go. Just make sure to keep it clean, disinfected, dry, covered and an antiobiotic/neosporin on it. If after 2 days the skin hasn't healed over, see a doctor.

Hard to say.. You could get some butterfly bandages and take care of it yourself. It'll scar more like that than if you were to go get stitches. If you don't go to the Dr.Keep it real clean so it doesn't get infected.Keep triple antibiotic cream on it and clean it with Hydrogen Peroxide everyday

u should go see a doctor not necessarily for stiches but for advice. anyway a doctor knows beter how to clean and disinfect a wound so it doesn't get infected. so don't risk your health and go to the hospital . they might as well tell u it's ok...

Looks like it's already started to heal. Get some butterfly closures for it.
