Anybody actually liked living in a Communist country?

Just curious if anybody out there actually liked living under the thumb of the Communist's? I can't see how, unless you were getting promoted or paid for promoting the party.

People who are complacent like to live in Communist countries. You can't have any ideas or opinions or get rich by starting your own business based on a pretty good idea.

There are 4 left that are nominally communist, right? China, Vietnam, N Korea and Cuba. They have a long way to go to democracy.
Now what you criticize about certain individuals of the elite in some countries "... getting promoted or paid for promoting the party." COULD indeed apply TODAY to the FORMER USA aka, the Dumbyland. The SAD thing is that we DID have democracy and LOST it, perhaps not permanently.

I from mother Russia. I only leave when Rocky knock out Drago and the crowd cheer for Rocky. I shake head and leave arena. I get on plane and come to America. What a country.

I didn't think it was that bad, but I had to learn to keep my big mouth shut and NEVER discuss politics with someone when I could be overheard by a servant or a casual observer. You just learn to live with the closed system and keep you mouth shut and it's not too bad.

Just because I'm an American and was with the U.S. Government didn't mean I could just shoot my mouth off indiscriminately.

I LOVED living in a communist country. I especially enjoyed it when our business was taken away and my brother was killed. That was AWESOME. We should do that here.

then you probably never lived in one. i'm sure youre going to say..oh yes i did..but i seriously doubt it.

my wife grew up in communist russia in the caucasis region. she loved it.

the poor support it cuz it gives them a better life while the rich hate it cuz they have to be normal
