LSA is an independent government organization, do you have any ideas for policies to get more volunteers?

I've never even heard of it. I'm trying to become a teacher here in the state of Georgia. You should do more advertising...a lot of companies (television, newspaper, etc.) will let you advertise for low cost or even free if you let them know it is for a good cause. This way people can hear about LSA. Good luck!!

A school that I previously worked at had Learn and Serve - they never had a problem getting kids to join!
I think that a lot of schools and teachers don't know the benefits of having a learn and serve program in their school. Learn and Serve students at the school I was at helped the special ed. department by being mentors for the kids, tutored at the local elementary school, organized a blood drive at the school and many, many other things. Good publicity will help.

I have never heard of your organization. One way is if there was some kind of money. Maybe some kind of loan forgiveness can be worked out with some bigger companies.
