Favorite Team- The New York Yankees: As a kid my mother introduced me to baseball and she was a big Yankees fan as was my Grandfather. She took me to games and I became a huge fan. This was in the late 80's when they weren't even very good.

Favorite Player- Orlando "El Duque" Hernandez: Both my parents are cuban and I have visited Cuba many times. I was fortunate enough to visit and see some National Cuban Series of Baseball games. I was fortunate enough to watch "El Duque" as a young pitcher, it was quite impressive. Then when he came to the US and played for the Yankees it solidified him as my favorite player.

Favorite Team: St. Louis Cardinals

Favorite Player: Jose Alberto Pujols

Why is he my favorite player? God, do you even have to ask! Seriously Albert played out of his skull last night with 2 Home Runs and 7 RBI's. The man is a great hitter and great fielder. He will most certainly win the National League Most Valuable Player Award for a second consecutive year and the Cardinals WILL compete in the playoffs and make a strong run to the World Series.

STL Cardinals
There is a reason why it's reffered to as baseball city USA. It's clearly the most knowledgable about the sport. No wonder 90% of players (of both sides) have a great amount of admiration for the city and visitors offen speak favorably about playing for the cards. We also work hard for our victories, unlike the coastal media havens who do nothing but buy their victories. (Yeah I'm talking to you, Boston, NYM, NYY, San Fran).
Pujols is the favorite for both his talent and personality. His work ethic is second to none, which enables him to continually rewrite the record books, too bad his injury will more than likely stop him from leading the majors in scoring 5 straight years. He was also robbed from his MVP award a few years ago by Bonds, and we all know he didn't deserve it. A right handed hitter averaging over 320 for his career is a rare sight this day and age, and so is someone with this stature donating so much time and effort to charity.

Favorite Team: Detroit Tigers
Favorite Player: Brandon Inge

I always lived in the Detroit area so I've always been a Tigers fan, and NO I'm not a bandwagon fan. I followed them even when they almost broke the record for most losses in 2003. I like Brandon Inge because he's a no-nonsense kind of player with awesome athletic ability. he can play just about every position except pitcher.

New York Yankees,
Derek Jeter
He's a awesome shortstop, a sensational leader, and a superb batter, and you can always count on him to make a play or get a big hit when you need him to. The fact that he's attractive doesn't hurt either. :)

The Dodgers, they've been my favorite since I can remember.
It's a tie between Paul Lo Duca and Cesar Izturis. Lo Duca is such a great catcher and Izturis is one of the best defensive shortstops in my opinion.
