I have been getting thick yellowish, greenish with boogery looking dischargewith a slight odor but nothing bad. ever since i was wondering if it could be my mucas plug or a possible infection? i see my doctor tonight and i am gonna ask him too but i am very curious and would just like to know. Thanks so much,Bobbbi

Definately could be the mucus plug. This means labor is coming within 1-2 weeks. However, the mucus plug is a clear, globby, gelatinous blob-like substance. There are no colors or smells. This can be an infection. The only other green I know about is when the baby poops in the amniotic fluid. That usually comes as green, but is more watery. Good thing you're going to the dr. today.

Yes. This is possibly your plug. I worry about the odor though. It really shouldn't have a smell. Though I know every woman is different, it shouldn't be greenish either...the yellowish tint, yes, and the boogery part yep..but check and make sure there is no infecton starting to set up. Congratulations and Be Blessed!

The mucas plug is greyish white with some blood sometimes. Not yellow/green. Talk to your dr about infection.

Yup, sounds like it's your mucas plug! But, not to worry at 37 weeks your considered full term. That means your baby's lungs are well developed.

Sounds like it could be. It's strange that they stopped you Sunday--I know 40 wks is ideal, but usually anything after 37 is free to go ahead. Good luck and get yourself prepared.

It sounds like it. Eventually it will get tainted with blood meaning that it won't be too much longer before you have a new baby :)
