usually honesty is the best policy since you don't have to worry about trying to remember all of the lies, and you don't have to worry about trying to keep your story straight.

Yes, always. It pisses some people off, but that makes it their problem and not mine. Eventually, the people who know you will always learn to trust that you're telling them what you believe to be correct.

Honesty is also a large part of what has kept me happily married to the same wonderful woman for seven years and counting!
