Yes. Type the keys and click the mouse faster. You could also drop it off a tall cliff or building.
...or you could supercool the processor and increase its performance a great deal.

It totally depends on the age of the computer
age of the parts
and where they came from
If it came from places like Dell or HP, then no you can't
if the computer has a Pentium 2 or 3
probably no, but u can try
and if you custom built ur computer
then DEFINATLY
thats the reason WHY u build ur own computer
Go into the BIOS when u restart
it is usally hitting the delete button or the tab button once the first screen shows up, they should tell you though
then you should somehow find the stuff about ur CPU
they are usually in FSB (that is what it is marked as)
and if you are allowed to change it, then YAY!
slowly move the FSB up by 5 intervals each time
then after the first time
load Windows again
and download Prime 95
and SpeedFan
they are all free products easily found on google or yahoo!.
then, once they are downloaded.
restart your computer
enter the Bios again
then find your RAM dividers
they are usually at 1:1 as stock
change it to 5:6 or lower if possible
then keep raising the FSB of the CPU by 5 intervals, at the beginning it is possible to raise it 10 intervals, but not recommended
You will also want an aftermarket cooler such as the Thermaltake Big Typhoon.
after raising the intervals, always reboot your computer and run Prime 95 for about 7 to 8 hours to know that your computer is completely stable.
once the test shows that the computer is NOT stable, restart your computer, and slowly move the FSB down 1 at a time.
This WILL take a long time. but you get some amount of speed for free.
Once you find your highest FSB
raise your RAM divider higher and higher
for instance, you had it on 2:3 when u started to overclock (make ur comp go faster)
move it is 5:6
then do a memtest if it is availible on your ocmputer
if not, then Prime 95 for 10 to 12 hours
the longer it is, the more stable
If you weren't able to get too far with your Overclocking, then your divider will be fairly high like 4:5 or 9:10
goodluck.
P.S. join a overclocking forum like www.overclock.net
and they will help you out if i confused you

Yes and no... Yes.. you can increase the speed, but NO you can not increase the speed and have a reliable machine.
Usually, computers are designed to run at a certain maximum speed, which is a function of the Motherboard design AND the chip set. Computers are designed to run up to the maximum point where the read/write cycles begin to crash into each other and the machine becomes unstable.
So... Yes... you can increase the clock speed but no... you can't up the speed and still have a reliable machine

There is always a stable overclock that can be obtained, I wotn explain it as I dont have time, you have to go into the bios, then change the frequency of the FSB which will increase the speed of the ram if you are runnign a 1:1 multiplier, then it can also increase the processor speed, I have a stable over cllock on my athlon 64 2.2GHZ to 2.45 STABLE, I checked to see if it was stable with memtest, and prime 95, fully stable. anything higher and it becomes unstable, I also have to lower the HT multiplier though or else the pc can barely be overclocked.

You can overclock the cpu but you'll need to buy fans to keep it cooler. You could also add RAM or upgrade the processor. The hard drive can cause alot of slowness also.. Get a fast hard drive or even get a motherboard with hard ware raid (stripping). If nothing else make sure it is defrag'd. There are also some tweaks in windows (assuming you have windows) that can make some differences especially if you have alot of memory (RAM).

Yes...some more complicated then others (Harder as the list progresses).
1) Run anti virus and spyware apps. Such as AVG and Spybot
2) Run CCleaner. AKA Crap Cleaner
3)Overclock Graphics Card. Search Google for overclocking and the name of your graphics card. Download a program to overclock it. Easiest way i know without entering horrific amounts of programming.
4) Add RAM. Easy way to upgrade hardware and computer speed. Buy RAM at a local store such as Circuit City. You can either install or have somebody you know who knows about computers to install it.
5) Overclock CPU and Memory. Search Google for you CPU and look for step by step directions on how to overclock you CPU.
PS Becareful overclocking don't overclock more than what is necessary or you can burn your CPU/GPU out.

If your computer is running a little slow, try defragmenting it. Go to your start menu. Then all programs. Then accessories. System Tools, then Disk Defragmentor. It cleans up your files. I actually groups related files together. It takes about an hour to defragment your computer, but you will notice a difference when it's done.

yeah, remove windows, install linux.
Find out what type of motherboard you have, and see what the fasted CPU is that will still work with your motherboard.
Replace the motherboard all together and get a faster one with a faster CPU.
clean up your windows
put in more memory, faster harddrive, faster video card.
Bottom line, replace parts of your computer, or everything..
Or overclock your CPU and burn it.
