My ex once cut me a heart on a tree. Shame he had to continue really, he ended up cutting the heart out of me...
Oh, and this one time (not at band camp), another ex calmed me down after a wasp attack by slow dancing with me to my favourite sloppy song of the time.
I have no idea why these stick in my head!

When I came home from taking my sons to school one day and my LDR boyfriend had surprised me and put balloons and decorations all over the front of my apartment building, all the way up the stairs, all on my balcony, and all in my apartment for my birthday and he was hiding recording my reaction.
