Well, a biased poll is useful for confirming what you already believe, even if it has no bearing on reality.

A stable poll is crafted to show that nothing has changed, again even if it has no bearing on reality.

A truly unbiased poll is difficult to construct, but gives you the most accurate information.

It all depends on what you're trying to accomplish. Anything can be proven statistically given the right poll.
