I'm pretty sure he'll come back. Why would Melina do that?? I mean, he sacraficied his dignity for her and kissed Vince's @$$!! And also at Summerslam he sacraficed a match he could've won if Ric Flair wasn't about ta hit her wit a bat. I was starting ta think maybe she has a heart. But tha b*tch went back and double-crossed Mick Foley. That traitor...

He will come back eventually thats what I love about Foley. He will always be there for us. They did the Melina angle so they could work into the storyline that Foley needed a break.

Foley will return...he's taking a breather to work on some other projects. You may see him pop up on ECW occasionally as well. Melina makes a good heel and her character works best as the conniving backstabber. Look for some retribution to fall on her at a later date.
