He just sent me an email telling me that he wants to be with me, that I am the most awesome woman he's ever met and that he's crazy about me. Do I tell his wife or just tell him off? Or both?

we all have a myspace account, that's where the email was sent. His wife has one as well and he sent me a message through there because I am on her space. I did not give my email addy to him..Just fyi for anyone wondering.

Do both... show the email to your best friend so she can't say you don't have any proof that her husband was hitting on you...and tell him off...don't let your best friends husband ruin your friendship...

Close friends wife did the same with me....
I am no longer friends with them because it's terribly uncomfortable to be around them.
Tell her so she can deal with the real issue which is that there is probably something not right at home. If there is nothing wrong then there is going to be after you tell her. Maybe she can straighten him out.

Yikes!!! if he was bold enough to approch you, odds are he is somewhat of a player already. I would tell him that you are not interested and to please not email you again because it is making it an uncomfortable situation. I would not tell your best friend just yet. If he continues, then I would tell her then. This situation SUCKS!!!

Both. What would you want her to do in your situation? But be prepared for her irrational anger toward you. You will have to be very patient with her.

if she is really your best friend you have to let her know...sooner or later it will come out anyway then your friend will be mad at you for not telling her.
