All I know is my daughter absolutely loves Derek Jeter. So much so, that when we visited the Louisville Slugger Museum we had to buy her a Derek Jeter bat. But, I know that doesn't answer your question, sorry =)

Several times...but then again, so has every player in the major leagues...there is no way anyone keeps that stat, as I am sure it would be a large # for just about any major league player that has played more than 2 or 3 years in the league.
