Are you trying to play spades on Yahoo Games? If you are, log onto Yahoo Help (http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/games/) and click on their help link.
If you're not playing on Yahoo, see if there's not a help option for the web site you're using.
You might also try holding down your "control" key when trying to play. Once you get in you can release the control key. This has worked for me when trying to play pool on Yahoo.
Try these options before downloading any programs, which you might regret after downloading.

first set your popup blocker to always allow yahoo.com,then when you get into lounge, click small windows in option box..once in room you can expand it to see chat area..MSN VM will open yahoo spades you do not need java to launch yahoo games. go to control panel, internet options, click advance tab, look and see if there is two java's listed..if so uncheck them.then click apply then ok.this will speed up game loading.
