Around me.. like we have been friends since third grade but now when I am around her she acts strange, not mean or ignoring me, but like she smirks at me weird, and when we were at a pool party and I was in my bikini, she was staring at me and when I asked what's wrong she got all nervous and twitchy and just said 'nothing' and then walked away. She has been acting so odd, I'd like to find out, she is not like that towards anyone else. And on one sleepover I woke up in the middle of the night to see her leaning over at me, when I asked her what she wanted she just ignored me and went back to sleep. What do you think is wrong with her, it's very annoying.

I think her actions leave a lot of room for misinterpretations...if this has been your friend since third grade you guys should be cool enough for you to just ask her....

Your friend is jealous of you my dear. You are probably very pretty or she probably wants to be more like you. Whatever it really is it all boils down to her being jealous of you. Watch your back because jealousy can turn ugly when you have your back turned the other way. Be careful even though she is not acting mean towards you or ignoring you. Most of the time when someone is jealous they tend to want to be in your face or be around you all the time. I know it doesn't make any sense but trust me that's usually how it is. I got a lot of advice from my grandmother years ago that turned out to be true when it came to jealousy so take my word for it. Keep being a sweet girl because you sound like you are!!!!
