On the radio? It's not more explicit. It just appears that way because singers are using euphemisms. Creative ones at that! The FCC has raised their fines (again). We still can't say those 7 dirty words on the radio. But we can sing BEEP all we want.

I think it is due to the looseness of morals and values. If you think about it, in the 50's and before, songs were so different. There were implications of immorality but nothing that outright said it. I'm not saying that anyone in particular is immoral or if you like it, you are immoral. Just that society as a whole as definitely released it's grip on values.

Because we have slowly accepted it little by little over time. I don't mind some up to a point but now you have some bimbo singing about her "lovely lady lump" and stuff like that and it's just sick. And they spend millions each year trying to figure out wht tere is an increase in pedofiles and crime.
