I just asked our ped. this about my toothless 9 month old yesterday. He suggested pancakes, mashable fruits like pears and bananas, chunky mashed potatoes, mushy cheerios, cooked baby carrots, and ground or pureed meats. He also said no honey, eggs or tomato sauce until 1 yr, and no peanut butter until 2. Hope this helps.
p.s. I also give my son toast. And if you dip those Gerber fruit and veggie puffs or Biter Biscuits in water first it helps them to dissolve faster making them less of a choking hazard.

If she like the baby foods ,they have a wide selection .You don't usually put a baby on table foods till they are about one year old .Try mixing rice cereal with the fruits baby foods of course. They have more vitamins no salt ,which babies don't need. Did you feed you two other kids when they were babies table food at 10 months. I had 4 little one and I never fed mine table food until they were over a year and they had teeth by 3 to 6months. the teeth don't count that much , it the nutation that only baby food has.

are you serious. My daughter is also 7 months. She also turned 7 months on the 18 of this month. Dont feed her too much of table food yet because it could make her stomach hurt alot. you can feed her yougurt and applesause. you can feed her vegtables and meats too. but when you feed her each time dont give her that much. try to still keep giving her baby cereal. Those teeth will be coming in. all babies are different. They will develop in their own time. My baby has her 2 bottom teeth. but dont worry. if you feel its a really big concern then speak to the pediatrician.

I think yogurt is fine at that age...she'll be on whole milk before you know it, 12 months. Feed her anything in small small pieces so she won't choke, since she has no teeth. Anything pureed like baby food, including apple sauce would be great for her. Give her tiny pieces of meat, rice, anything healthy like that. Give her just bits at a time so she doesn't get too full and keep track of what you are giving her because she could have an allergy, and she still needs a lot of formula or breast milk too at this age.
Good luck. Expose her to lots of stuff young so she won't be a picky eater!

My daughter is 9 months and she eats everything now. But before her teeth we would feed her Gerber Applesauce, or Pears, or Bananas. With a little rice cereal, this will be fine. Just make sure it is stage 1.

I have 7 month old twins and they don't have teeth yet either, but they eat just about anything (within reason, of course). They love little bits of bread, and noodles (chopped up small). I feed them alot of peas and small peices of chopped up pears, they prefer solid foods to the baby food mush. Just stay close. Try Gerber Fruit Puffs, too if you can get them where you are. They disolve quickly and my girls go nuts for them.

I am anxious to feed my son who will be 7 months old september 3rd finger foods to keep him occupied between meals so the other day i did, he has 2 teeth and i gave him a gerber fruit puff, that dissolve in the mouth. Bad idea....he almost choked. i would wait to give her any type of table food....she will be at that age soon enough. pls wait, my choking situation with him was scary enough.
