You're pregnant. :-) You are probably getting up to pee or because you are physcially uncomfortable. Try going to the bathroom and "triple voiding" (pushing to empy your bladder 3x) before bed. Then do some pelvic rocking to encourage baby into a good position before you go to sleep. This may help you to stay comfortable longer so you can sleep better. Also, try putting some relaxing scents on your pillow or on your pulse points, such as lavendar.

I think its just a normal part of pregnancy unfortunately. You're extremely tired the first two months, you do ok during the middle, then the last you don't want to sleep. When I was pregnant with my daughter I swore she was going to be born at 3:00am because I would honestly wake up at least once a night, starting at 3:00am. Didn't have to use the bathroom, felt comfortable, but just wide awake. If you have the option, nap in the afternoon or evening when you do feel sleepy so that you are at least still getting your rest. Only a couple of more weeks and then you'll have a reason to be getting up in the middle of the night!

I went through the same thing at the end of my pregnancy - good thing too because my water broke at 4 AM!
I surrounded myself with pillows. I stopped drinking an hour before bed so I wouldn't have to get up and pee as often (I used to bring a glass of water to bed). If I woke up, I did something boring to make myself tired again. Try a book on CD - if you wake up, go sit somewhere comfortable and dimly lit and just listen to it. I still do this if I can't sleep. I also napped in the morning after breakfast, usually on the couch for 2-3 hours.
Hope it gets better for you when the baby is born! I slept wonderfully once I could sleep on my belly again.

If this is your first pregnancy, then no, as you could complicate the natural course of things for your baby. I was able to breastfeed my babies right from birth and didn't have to fuss with bottles at all until 4 months when I ran out of milk. I had twins the first time and was pretty stressed out with my failing marriage. The second time with my daughter she had a heart defect and I couldn't breastfeed her anymore past 4 months due to her surgery. I used the breast pump at that time until I dried up 2 months later. Stress will do that. Just relax, enjoy the pregananct and let nature take it's course. Any question can be answered by the doctor or midwife. Good luck m'dear!

When I was pregnant I had a hard time sleeping. I would only get 1-3 hours a sleep a day. My doctor had told me that it could have been due to my hormones, with my body changing and all. Also, she told me that even though I did not feel stressed-out, it could be that subconsciously I was worried about the baby and pregnancy issues. She told me that Tylenol PM would be okay for me to take. Make sure and check with your doctor first before taking any medicines.

It's normal...I'm like that now (32 weeks) Just sleep when you can... your body will knock you out when it need rest. And you might as well get used to now sleeping through the night...I think it's just natures way of preparing us for baby...they're not going to let us sleep through the night either...lol
Just wait...7 more weeks and you'll be able to roll over and sleep on your face, or lay on your back, and not pee 57 times a day...you're almost done hun...hang in there.

I had the same problem, I just couldn't sleep. I tried everything . And I hoped after the baby will be born I can get a nice long sleep. Nope! He is 15 months old now, and I still haven't had a chance to sleep.
I think we just have to take it, and hope for a quiet , long sleep one day!
I'm so tired too!

Normal, not much you can do though, it happens at this time of pregnancy. It will pass. It's your body starting to get used to sleepless night, sucks, I know.... :-))
