Ladies, does 'foot jewelry' really accent your look or does it detract from it?

Toerings and anklets. For some women, they are a 'must have' fashion item. For others, it detracts from the beauty of their shoes or outfit. Do you feel that they take away from the look you are trying to achieve or do you need them to complete your outfit? Why or why not?

I think foot jewelery should be worn with simple outfits, like jeans, t-shirts, capris, tanktops. But if your wearing a nice dress, nice shoes, nice anything dont wear foot jewelery. It really does take attention away.

i think it just adds to the outfit just as any other acessory would, personally i love anklets and dont really care for toe rings as much but they still look cute and enhance the shoe or the look (depending upon the ocassion)

Depends on your age. I can see it on a teenager, but not on the women in the corporate world. It depends on the image you want to portray. Same goes for any kind of jewelry and tattoos.

I think its a fun summer thing to do. Not really appropriate for work, or a nice dinner out, but great for a playful daytime look.

I feel theyre tacky, and the only ones i would agree with are like 2 just plain gold bands on your pointer toe. but summer only. and summers basically done. I dont recommend them, they make you look tacky.

I don't even consider how they look. It's just more crap for us to a) buy/waste money on; b) weigh ourselves down with; and c) obsess over.

The less crap on me the better!
