i am a big fan of sk8brding, so naturally i am trying to learn how to myself. i started last year and am trying to master the ollie. I just cant get it down! I kno that the ollie is practically the base for most tricks, so if you could help with other tricks too, i would greatly appreciate it.

Peace!

i can help!!! ok you've probably heard the basic steps of an ollie over and over but here they are again. have your back foot on the tail (duh) and have your front foot in the middle of the board. pop the tail by pushing down your back leg as hard as you can and in about a micro second you need to slide up your front foot, bring up your back leg, level out, and land. when you drag up your front foot, make sure the far side of your shoe is against the board. oh and when you level out, the hardest part is bringing up your back foot. i try to think of it as trying to knee myself in the face when in the air. just dont REALLY try to knee yourself in the face. hope i helped.

best way to learn is actually to try over and over..

there is no perfect way to skate or learn tricks..

its all by practice and practive.. 3 to 4 hours a day of skating..
