When was the last time, don't say its because they hate our "freedoms" because it isn't. Look at other countries that are just as free as the US... how come they never are attacked?

You are exactly right. Our support for Israel is looked upon very badly by most Middle Eastern countries who feel Israel was "taken" away from Palestine and this last ordeal where we set back and didn't demand a cease-fire didn't help the situation either. You know what really confuses me about the whole "supporting Israel" scenario? From what I understand, correct me if I'm wrong, Christians support Jews in Israel because of some Bible prophecy that sees that as one of the signs of the end of times when Jesus comes back to get them. And the real irony is at that point, won't they demand the Jews to convert to Christianity or suffer the depths of hell???

Simply because their minds are all fed up with anti Islamic Zionist media.
I can't imagine that those people still believe that Muslims attacked them only because they wanted to! There must be a strong reason for anyone to explode himself!

And for the attacks in Europe: Alkaida has a very violent strategy and most Muslims now are against this strategy and against attacking western civilians...they say that those civilians pay taxes which are then given to Israel as weapons...I disagree with them but everything turns back in the end to the western support for Israel!

Another guy said Philippines, India< Morocco and several countries....Well every country has some groups who use violence to achieve their goals weather Islamic or not....Spain has suffered for years from Eta Organization which is a terrorist group and not Islamic...don't just mix things up!

Some others mentioned Somalia....Don't make me laugh..Somalia is an Islamic country from centuries people!

We are talking about the anti US attacks...The only reason for this is the unlimited support to Israel...check this out:

I'm glad that there are other people that think of that very subject. I'm not an anti-semite (that's a popular term to call people these days), but I don't really see that much heart felt support from the Jewish populous in this country as far as financial/man-power support is concerned. This pretty much is a religious war between the Jews and Muslims of that region, but many American political leaders are responsible for bringing our own into the danger of that war, in which we don't sufficiently understand.

Are you serious? Is your world view that ignorant? The Captain, carpediem & hirofuri, and anyone else who would spew this nonsense, educate yourselves.

Those will get you started. Use them. Be less stupid. I'm not trying to be overly harsh, but its your responsibility to know and understand a) the true recent history of the entire region, b) the mistakes made by all sides, and c) what has been tried to fix the problem.

In short, the idea that Jews stole Palestine is a myth. There was no seperate Palestine nation. If Israel stole Palestine, then so did Jordan.

Islamic terrorism was attacking and killing Jews long before there was a state of Israel. Islamic fascism traces it routes back to Nazi Germany. So to say that we are responsible for Middle Eastern terrorism in any way, shape, manner, or form is ignorant. People who spout this nonsense choose to do so, they choose to be ignorant, they choose to ignore reality and history.

Want to prove me wrong? All you gotta do is read a little. In doing so you'll drastically improve your comprehension of the current problems.

Then explain Muslim terrorism in Thailand, Philippines, India, Indonesia, Chechnya, Sudan, Morocco, Algeria, Somalia and Nigeria. Those have nothing to do with Israel.

Oh, those dratted facts, undermining your anti-Israel stance yet again!

im all for Israel .... but for as far as your question is concerned what do you suggest? That the US abandon a country with hundreds of ballistic nukes and hundreds more nuke bombs? just turn them loose to the dogs and let ww3 in mushroom cloud form take place? no .... i think you need to reconsider why the US supports israel ... thats a very big issue ... better to have all those nukes working for us than against us dont you think?

In our war against Islamo-fascist terrorism, we face enemies both overt and covert. The overt enemies are, of course, the terrorists themselves. Their motives are clear: They hate our society because of its freedoms and liberties, and want to make us all submit to their totalitarian form of Islam. They are busy trying to wreak harm on us in any way they can. Against them we can fight back, as we did when British authorities arrested the men and women who were plotting to blow up a dozen airliners over the Atlantic.

Our covert enemies are harder to identify, for they live in large numbers within our midst. And in terms of intentions, they are not enemies in the sense that they consciously wish to destroy our society. On the contrary, they enjoy our freedoms and often call for their expansion. But they have also been working, over many years, to undermine faith in our society and confidence in its goodness. These covert enemies are those among our elites who have promoted the ideas labeled as multiculturalism, moral relativism and (the term is Professor Samuel Huntington's) transnationalism.
