Netherland Dwarf 1 year old bunny. Nothing else seems to be wrong except she grooms the spot to death.

Rabbits can do that if they get board or if they have a fur blockage.

Treat the fur blockage with papya enzime tablets and spray a product called bitter apples on the fur to stop the chewing.

One of my Flemish bucks was chewing bald spots on his back, be changed his house around and treated for fur blockage and everything is fine now.

BUT if you see a white scabbie look to the skin then take to a vet.

Good luck

Just wanted to point out that you should NOT give a rabbit a flea bath as someone else suggested and many flea remedies that are OK for other animals are deadly to rabbits. I agree with the others who said to take your bunny to the vet. My bunny had a similar problem and there are MANY possible causes that you will need tested.

Definately take her to the vet. My bunny did the same thing...she kept grooming her dew chin. At first I thought maybe a false pregnancy (mom to be bunny's rip out their fur to make nests.) Then I thought maybe mites...but when I finally got to look at her skin it was all raw, bloody and covered in pus. Turns out it was an abcess. She had scratched herself on her cage and kept licking it...and it ended up infected. Take her to the vet... they gave Thumper som Batyril... and an antiseptic spray that tasted badly so she would stop licking. It healed in no time.

allergies or mites. if she keeps grooming git them you have to keep her from doing that or she will create a hot spot. and then your problems will worsen. take her to the vet if the problem doesn't get better. with in a week

my mom's cat does this. he has an allergy to fleas and licks all the fur off his stomach so the fleas wont stay there. get your bunny some flea shampoo and skin conditioner. her skin is probably agitated.
