Great question.
I think Survivor is most original and shows more of the dynamic of teamwork, human collaboration, conflict management, ethical dillemmas and such ... I think the interrelationships between each castaway as individuals and as teams is facinating... and the whole unspoken trust and alliances show what people are made of....
In Amazing Race I enjoy seeing the different places and the way each pair (or family) has to negotiate fears or obstacles, but it juswt is no way near as dynamic or sophisticated as Survivor is. I find ARace facinating in the way some pairs would take in the sights at they visited a country and would be respectful of the cultures.... while others would just race and hardly notice the sights or would give off a less grateful American attitude ... a little less respectful sometimes.
All in all, I still like Survivor better... the Amazing Race is a bit predictable.
By the way,
my favorite A Race moment was when a few years ago the black married couple was racing to the final stretch and took a taxi.... didn't have cab fare and insisted to pay up before going to the finish line .... it just would not have been right for them to go on to the finish line without paying the cabbie. I thought that was the best ethical moment to choose to do the right thing.... and they ended up winning as well. just can't remember their names...

I have loved all the past seasons of Amazing Race and can't wait to start watching this season.I think Amazing Race is allot better than Survivor because the people are more real and I love the places they get to visit.

They each have their strengths and weaknesses.
"The Amazing Race" is by far the better produced and edited show. Byt continually shooting in new locations, the show has a sumptuous look that makes "Survivor"'s "sweaty smelly castaways on a small beach" look pathetic by comparison.
The games on each have become repetitive, but "Amazing Race"'s are unquestionably more inventive by their inclusion of local trivia in each location.
In the end, too much of "Amazing Race" consists of endless shots of people running through airports ... and "Survivor"'s reveal of the castaway remains the best moment of suspense on weekly television.
My vote: "Survivor" by a narrow edge.

Good question, i love them both. Survivor is better when you are interested int he human interactions, kind of like a sociology experiement. Amazing Race is better if you want a more action packed, fun game-show.
I can't decide, but I'll give my vote to survivor

The Amazing Race is by far better to me becasue the the two people that go on the show together get on eachothers nerves and it so funny to watch. and the challenges that they do on the show are much harder than survivor challenges.

Both are equally good but if they showed them at the same time i would probably pick survivor but it depends on the characters on it sometimes I'm really routing for a team on AMAZ. RACE.And sometimes theirs someone one survivor you just got to what their up to.
