If you are fair and lose, then when you stand before God, you will be rewarded for doing the right, moral thing.
You could ask Ken Lay, the former and now dead CEO of Enron coporation- he was investigated, arrested, arrained, and then died before sentencing. According to the law, aparently even tho he was found guilty he is presumed innocent because he died prior to sentencing.
I am pretty sure God will take issue with his abuse of money and power

Ideally, you are to be fair and win, but I realize that's not always an option.
I'd rather lose every time with my integrity intact than win just once without it.

I would have to say to be fair and lose. At least you maintain your integrity. If you fake it, you will exhaust yourself trying outdo your last attempt at faking it.
