Check for inline fuel filters.
There also maybe a filter in the gas tank running from the pump.
Best way to check is discnnect the fuel line from the crab.
Turn the key so pump is on do not start the engine.
Gas should pump if the fuel pump is working or if the fuel filter isnt clogged.
if gas comes to that point its in the carb.
if no gas is pumped out or it just spurts its probably the pump.

Good luck :)

Check all the fuel filters.

You may try getting some "Quick Start" and spraying into the intake while the engine is cracnking. If the engine can run on that alone, then you know for certain that you have a fuel delivery problem.

I'd check these things:

1. Fuel filter (could be plugged)
2. Do a pressure test on the fuel pump (could be failing)
3. Check all wires leading to fuel pump for bad or intermittent connection
4. Check owner's manual to see if fuel pump has a fuse in the fuse block...if so check for bad or failing fuse...replace
3. Check/clean fuel rail and injectors ( could have one or more fouled/plugged injectors)
4. Check fuel lines for cracks/leaks...could be sucking air somehow, plus leaks can be dangerous
5. Check around injector assemblies/housing for loose lines or hoses, also check for leaks, etc
6. Have a mechanic hook the vehicle up to a code reader to see if there are any failing sensors, etc. that could be contributing to the problem.

When in doubt, take it to a mechanic for proper and thorough analysis.

Hope this helped.

Check your fuel filter....It might be old and clogged...so that will resist how much gas your engine gets....Take it off and blow in it, and if there is alot of resistance replace it....

check the spark plugs and see if there getting a blue spark, if not than its not the fuel line that needs to be fixed, its the spark plugs or the starter coil
