Why do rednecks love nascar?

Why is every person that likes NASCAR considered a redneck? It's a mainstream sport now, get over it.

i think its the thrill of high speed. and alot of "rednecks" have dirt track cars that they race themselves so Nascar is like the ultimate dream. Also, no offense intended, it easier to understand,
But comming to redneck defense, there are alot of other people that like to watch Nascar as well.

because it's mindless, noisy, violent death is a possibility at any moment, they can remain essentially immobile to view it while simultaneously downing enormous quantities of beer and cheetos, they get to enjoy being, yet again, a member of a witless herd, just like at church, there's amazingly tasteless country music playing in the backround, the "vibrational level" of the entire "show" both on and off the track, is comfortable for them at many levels below that of a dung pit, you get the idea, eh? what's more interesting to me is how aware i am of how much rednecks and nascar "trigger" me, which, obviously needs to be worked on, since it speaks volumes about my need to up my tolerance quotient, eh? oh, well! i see the buddha wagging his finger at me as we speak :-)

i dont knowbut it must mean my whole family are rednecks except me i hate it its boring to watch all i need to know is who wins. other than that who cares right.

Because it's entertainment befitting their mentality. They can drink beer in the stands, it's real loud, and goes round and round in a circle, real fast. Hot damn!!
