As much as I disagree with pretty much everything the man says- he created a grand mess in Iraq, and sadly I do believe that if we just pulled out Iraq would tumble into an even more fierce and disgusting civil war, and eventually be a haven for more terrorists.
But- then again- this might happen even if we stay.
Oh hell- I don't know. But at least under Saddam- he had total (brutal) control of his society and totally put down any religious extremists.

We just have to wait until the Bush regime is out of office, or some madman tries something. Oh, and keep Brother Jeb out of there, too.
Personally I think all Americans should get together and find some average, non-rich, no-ties Joe Blow to get on the ballot for '08 - maybe THAT will make a difference.

What part is not understandable? Stay the Course......Sure a few more of our guys may get killed but look at the alternative we will never get the place stabilized, we wouldn't have a platform to stage an attack on Syria or Iran if it became necessary. With us there it is driving the Islamo's crazy, they are going to self destruct eventually. I only wish we would quit cow towing down to the Anti war crowd and appeasing the Muslim Islamo's, and just start hurting them more, quit worrying about whether or not we've violated there civil whights, oh boo hoo!

Staying the course will only insure more deaths. We should have left as soon as Saddam was removed from power. Now we are mired in this mess that seems to be a civil war. This is his ego speaking, if every mother kept her son home they would have to work this out some other way. I would like to see every soldier home by this Thanksgiving.

Bush could be literally leading a group right into quicksand and still say "lets stay the course"
The sad thing is, some people would actually listen.

I am very, very much opposed to this war. It is a civil war, we never should have been there in the first place, the WMD were desert outhouses loaded onback of a flatbed truck!! (TRUE) and such a tragic waste of life. Let's impeach him.

Do I agree with going over there...NO but we know that we are there....we have to finish what we started....or we and the world will be worse off than at the beginning of this mess. That is just the way it is.....At least he know that....and is not going to make the same mistake we did in the first gulf war and not finish.

Great!
Are you a terrorist from a foreign country?
Bad news for you. Even if a Democrat gets elected president, he will still follow Bush's lead, just like Hillary is doing.
Even a Democrat president won't surrender to you.

God Bless GW he just keeps bringing his balls to work everyday. I know cutting and running is what the libs/dems want but he appears to have some courage...something that they are way short on.
The troops themselves all volunteered so I assume they are doing what they have chosen to do in life.
