if her lapse in menstruation is not due to a hysterectomy and more due to hormones, there may be a way to restart it but you will have to speak to a doctor. She should make an appointment with her gynecologist and talk about the pros and cons. She may be able to start a hormone replacement process to get her back ...but really she needs to speak to her doc.

If the periods were not stopped chemically (e.g with artificial hormones like those in certain birth control methods such as Depo Provera) or surgically, I doubt it. 36 is pretty early for menopause. If she has hormonal problems that caused it, I would recommend seeing a doctor. Maybe he or she could provide advice on treatment.

I'm not really sure, but I don't think so.

It's hard to say because you didn't really give us very much info to work with here.

Has she gone through menopause already? Or had a hysterectomy or something? Because if that's the case, then no, you can't restart a period.

This is just really confusing.

She went through early menopause. It does happen. Most women at this age would probably say she is lucky. However she cannot restart her period.

what the hell u both were doing till now in the last five years? Consult the senior doctor immediately... and do not try to think of producing children now as her womb might be having some serious defect at this stage...

Nope. But if you both want a child badly, you might check into IVF. As for her conceiving naturally, its not gonna happen if she's already gone through menopause.

She may start again if she takes certain hermonial treatments or other medications, but it will not cause a true cycle (including ovalutioan and everything). Her body will just be tricked into thinking it.
