It's the American way!

I think it's just human nature to think what others have is what we want. It goes w/the old saying, "The grass is always greener on the other side!" It really isn't, it just looks that way because we want to believe that other people have it better than we do ourselves. We never seem to be satisfied. We always want more!!

I do think the world would be a better place to live in if we all did appreciate what we had instead of always wanting what others have. I think that this is exactly why other countries are jealous of the USA.

Good question, I think it's just a matter of the old saying, "the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence". We always want what other's have because we feel our lives would be so much better.
