I would go to the doctor. I had a couple rashes on my face that made me very self concious and the doctor gave me a cream called elidel. It worked great and the patches are pretty much gone now. For now, just put lotion or Eucurin on them or something with hydrocortizone in it, you can find them at any grocery or drug store. But if the patches are on your face like mine were, DON'T put hydrocortizone on them. My doctor told me it makes them worse. Hope I could help, good luck!

I have psoriasis, which is very similar to eczema (and you haven't been diagnosed yet, so you don't know what you have), and it seems that only prescriptions really help to clear things up. Go to your doctor to get diagnosed first of all, and ask for a prescription. Also, try to keep your skin from being too dry, as that could make things worse. Sun exposure also helps (in small amounts though, cancer is worse than eczema/psoriasis).

this will sound bizarre but I promise it works.. Neutrogena ORIGINAL cold cream. Put it on the spots.. rub it in like a lotion. Feels great and clears it up. I had two huge spots on my legs for several months... tried the neutrogena, saw improvement in a matter of days, cleared up completely in about 3 weeks I think?
And, like someone else said, avoid hot showers, it definitely makes it worse. Use a good daily lotion like eucerin or aveeno and do the neutrogena maybe 2-3 times a day at first, until you see some improvement... then go to once or twice a day until it's gone. You'll smell like menthol but it should work!

Well first I think that you need to go to the doctors and find out exactly what it is that you have. When skin gets skin patches that are dry, the skin has a loss of fatty acids.
I used to work@ THE BODY SHOP, I was even a manager...........
There is as product line of HEMP, they have a body butter, that works on exzema, even mothers bought it to put on there baby's.
Olive oil, product work as well, the body shop has a shower gel and soap bars and body butter,,,,,,,
just rubb into morning and night, especialy at night , that is when your body is healing and skin will be under the covers that will alow the lotion to penatrate much deeper into the skin.......\
always after a show to keep moister in ..............wish you well

I thought I had eczema for a long time- I was misdiagnosed. I actually have psoriasis. You should get checked out by your family doctor and have them refer you to a dermatologist (they seem to be able to give straight answers). Good luck!

Go see a dermatoligt. They will give you a special cream for that. In the meantime, try EUCERIN dry skin therapy. It's hella greasy but it works well on the dryest skin.
