I started an NVQ level 3 in a job I had, but I left befor I finished it. I would like to finish it off, but dont no the best way about it. I have to be assessed by a qulified assesser, and get work signed off which I would have to do in a work setting. Can any one give me any advise on what to do. The NVQ is working with young people and children in care, thanks

Contact your local College. Tell them you left the employer you were with halfway through your NVQ which you would like to finish off. Some Colleges have there own nursey, or have built up contacts with child care centres in their area - for work experiences students and the like - so hopefully they will be able to send you along there so you can get the relevant modules signed off in a 'work' environment.

Just get along to your local college, they will advise, but you can transfer between colleges without problem... that's the beauty of the NVQ system
