I am using a clear blue easy fertility monitor for the first time...I am on day 5 of my cycle and it hasn't asked me to test yet. I read the booklet and it says testing will begin on day 6 for your first cycle and you will test 10-20 times. Has anyone had any luck with this type of fertility monitor?

Yes, I have PCOS and insulin resistance and the Clearblue Easy Monitor worked for me the very first time. I loaned it to a friend and she had the same results. The test sticks are pretty pricey, but sometimes you can find a deal on EBay. Good Luck!

p.s. I also miscarried and began using mine again. The second time it took about 3 months

p.s. I also had VERY irregular cycles (like anywhere between 35 and 60 days) my monitor usually had me test from days 18-26 with a peak around day 23

I LOVE my monitor.
I have not had luck getting pg yet but I have PCOS and insulin resistance that I recently started meds for.

I usally don't get asked for a stick until day 8. Once you use the monitor a few cycles it will "get to know you" and you won't be waisting any sticks.

It is the only monitor that detects two key hormones.

It indicates the days of your cycle when you are most likely to conceive – the days closest to when the egg is released from your ovary (ovulation).

Most home ovulation and fertility tests identify the 2 best days to get pregnant during a woman's cycle by detecting the surge in luteinizing hormone (LH) that triggers ovulation. The Clearblue Easy Fertility Monitor not only shows these 2 Peak Fertility days, but also identifies additional fertile days when you can conceive . By detecting a rise in estrogen, The Clearblue Easy Fertility Monitor can inform most women of an extra 1 - 5 days of High Fertility prior to their Peak Fertility days. This means that you know all the days on which having intercourse is most likely to lead to conception.

Good luck to you!

Did you purchase the video reveal new or used? whether it rather is used then I heard the video reveal takes longer to get utilized on your cycle. you may desire to be having an annvolatory cycle additionally. Are you sorting out in the 6 hour window with the 1st morning urine? in case you place your M button at 9am then you certainly've from 6 am to midday to aim. Are the sticks expired? What CD are you on? Did you press the on button in the 6 hour window whether it does not require a attempt that day? I did a lot of interpreting up on it and it rather is my first month additionally. I in basic terms now have been given my "height" and am on CD 19. after having severe readings for 8 days.

I think it depends on what kind of cycle you have. If you have an irregular cyle it is not going to work for you. If you decide to try it, I would also use the regular sticks as well for the first couple of months. The machine is going to take a while to learn your system and like I said before, if you have an irregular cycle it is not going to be accurate. You should also pay close attention your body changes as well.
