All those tumbling in the washing machine, you might as well save some money to buy a new one. However, you could take it out and try to dry it. Or better yet, if it is still under warranty, take it to the authorize dealer to have it fixed for free. Just don't tell them what happened.

Do not power it on, put it in the freezer to dry the circuits out.
After about 2-3 hours, pull it out, and try to turn it on...sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. I was able to get my DS working again after it had been underwater for about 10 minutes.

I hope not. I threw mine out after it went in. I tried to revive it for a couple days then finally threw it out and bought a new one.
