I don't know if this is going to be their year, but I think with the new additions to the team they will be better than they were last season. I think Favre is going to have a good year this year, even though there are doubters out there that would disagree. For someone his age to still have the ability to play, I say Go Packers!

Ummm...no. A.J. Hawk will definitely help their defense, but if Farve heaves up another 26 or so interceptions, it's not going to matter. Plus, Farve doesn't really have anyone to throw it to, and Ahman Green is getting older and losing a couple of steps. Besides, the NFC is getting a lot stronger. You look at teams like Chicago, Carolina, Washington, and Dallas, and I don't even see Green Bay making the playoffs. But, if it makes you feel better, I am a 49ers fan, and I know I have years of 4-12 records before they have a chance of getting to the playoffs.

maybe because the addition of A J hawk will certaintly help their defense and the packers offense was good from the start

I sure hope so because I'd hate to see Brett go out like poor Dan Marino did.
