Get Real! Sound like another "minority" whining about being poor. A person is poor and uneducated because they want to be. Those levees broke because the design limits were exceeded. It's BS to think the levees were dynamited. If you lived 8 feet below sea level and you knew that this type of storm would eventually happen then staying there and getting wiped out was your own fault. Stop playing the poor minority game.

Paranoia runs rampant in some people; they are always looking for a conspiracy in everything the see.

It must be miserable to have to live with the thought that you cannot trust anyone or anything. I would imagine that such a condition is as close to hell as any living person can come.

Why would the government want to divide the poor from the rich? How would there be benefit and to whom by such a plan?

Dividing the rich from the poor takes place easily and often; the rich merely buy better plots away from the poor. When you have money you can live where you wish.

You question needs to be expanded.

No, why? There was this huge barge that rammed against it and caused the flooding this time. But back when Betsy went Through they did blow up the levee. Everyone got flooded in the 9th ward and St. Bernard parish, black, white, mixed, poor, middle class you name it. I do not believe it had anything to do with economics because if it did why are people paying out the windpipe to fix it all. Terrible down there, things are still destroyed it's so so sad.

No. The poor are always divided from the rich anywhere and at anytime. A lot of countries even have very strict cast systems to divide people along class lines. In America you can cross those lines if you work at it or get lucky, not so in most other places.

No I do not think that. That is a goofy theory by some that want to create racial discord to further their own agenda. Considering that over 50% of the folks that lost their lives during that storm were white, I don't see how anyone could believe such tripe.
The Levy's broke because they were not maintained as they should have been. The finger points directly at the local and state government on this one. When they diverted funds to build a casino, that may not have been the wise choice.

I don't think its about rich or poor. Its more about having common sense and evacuating when there is a Cat 5 storm heading for an area that's below sea level. I imagine a levee under immense pressure from millions of gallons of water would sound like an explosion when it burst.

Ha, oh my God , don't tell me you believe Spike Lee. That guy is a moron. He's only famous because he's a BLACK director, it wouln't be politically correct to not like him. But I digress, if you think of it from a racist point of view, why would they blow the levees so that all the Lousiana trash would spread out through the southern United States when they had them in one spot.

No, that is Nonsense from Louis Farakhan and the nation of Islam to keep black folks worked up into a frenzy. The bigger frenzy you are worked up into, the more power Farakan Has because he can use it to make you and other black folks do bad things to whites and jews, whom he hates. The levies were pooly constructed, and cost the US gov. Billions of dollars. You should hold your governor responsible. She misappropriated a few billion of the levee money for a jobs program.

No, the govt just didn't make proper levees in the first place because the poor were protected by them.

That falsehood has been pushed by hate-mongers who NEED the "poor" residents to blindly follow them.
They understand that if the residents actually know the truth, they'll be able to make their own decisions about who's helping them & who isn't.
It's much like the reports of murder & canibolism & rape at the dome.
Turns out, it was all just a big lie.
The objective of the "leaders" is to keep their constituents as un-informed as possible & filled with fear of the regular system.
