I would change the "defend at all cost" theory. What I see consistently in almost all the coaches is, that once their team has scored, they tend to over-defend. In that way the ball ends up being played mostly in your half for the remainder of the match.

I like the 4-4-2 system.

Another one annoys me and for some reason the US team does it all the time. Figure this: your goalkeeper has possession of the ball but he kicks it way yonder for whomever to get it. What? Why don't they just try to play the ball up, the goalkeeper should pass the ball to the defenders and watch the skillful plays required to make an actual goal.

I would work with there minds as well and get a professional sports psychologist. It is the most important part of the game yet most of the focus in sport is predominantly on the physical aspects.

The best sports players (Tiger Woods, Pete Sampras) and the best teams have mind coaches.... its no coincidence.

I will focus on increasing incredibly the speed of players, because i believe that speed can let u win,Talent also is important, but speed could cover lack of talent.
