No,there bass player William Boyd left the band in June 06 because He didn't want to do another tour,he wanted to be with his family

The original group members Amy Lee and Ben Moody started the band but Ben left the group a few years back. He was replaced and the band Evanescence still exists.

That one dude left, but the band never brokeup. Their new song is awesome by the way.

nope. they took a break. i was beginning to wonder myself 'cause it had been a while since there was any new material. but now they have a new album out and a new song- "call me when you're sober" -that is doing well.
