The word "India" for British meant "Tribe". Since they considered us as tribals they named our country as INDIA.

Bharat , have two sources, King Bharat who was son of Shakuntla and another one was younger brother of Lord Ram.

For muslims people living other side of Hindukush Mountains were termed as Hindus and their homeland as Hindustan.

Hindustan is the name the Indians call their homeland. It's the English-speaking know-it-alls that have given it an easier name for themselves.

We should give them respect and call their country Hindustan.
