Why are black comedians racist?

I always wondered why black comedians are always making fun of white people. I used to LOVE Chris Rock. Then I recently saw a stand up show where he said white people have sex with family members and live in trailers and eat mayonnaise sandwiches, etc. Horrible stuff. Then I heard alot more black comedians say like wise. Now, I'm white and have never even been inside of a trailer. Yes, I know white people with not alot of money live in trailers. But black people who don't have alot of money live in ghettos and from what I hear alot of no electricity. But white comedians don't make fun of that. I don't think money problems is something to make fun of. It's sad. What's with the inbred statements? Nobody has sex with their sisters that I know of. That's gross! I wish that just everybody would stop judging others on the color of their skin. People are just ignorant. I freaking hate racists.

Such a touchy subject. I know what you mean though, if we as white people say anything about a black person we are a racist, if they say something about us it's free speach.
Racism is racism, black or white, yellow or red, it has gotten so whites can't talk about anything without being labled.
For those of you who are black, noone you know or have ever known has been a slave, and none as far back as almost 100 years has been a slave, get over it and stop blaming everyone else because you to f'ing lazy to make things better for yourself.

I am pretty much under the impression that the reason that they do it is because they can,the white race held them back for hundreds of years and now that they have an opportunity to speak in front of millions of people this seems to be the one thing that they want to make fun of the most, that and they seem to think it's funny, and obviously those who laugh at their sense of humor,I wouldn't say that all black comedians are racist, but it does seem like a lot of them are doesn't it? unfortunately though I will let you know that there are plenty of people out there who have sexual relationships with family members, it's called incest and I also would imagine it is more white people than blacks that do this, but it's not to say that it doesn't happen in all races because I am quite sure that it does,anyways I used to like Chris Rock as well and always wanted to go see him preform, not anymore

I have often wondered the same thing. I can't figure it out why is it okay for black people to use racist term towards white but if a white person does the same thing Jesse Jackson ends up leading a picket in front of their house. On the tv show All in the Family George Jefferson would call Archie all types of racist names and it was never an issue. We aren't even going to talk about the N word. Why do so many black people use that word?

White people have almost ALWAYS made fun of people of color, especialy blacks. I will not believe you have never heard a racist joke at the expense of black people.

Now, I apologize to you about my "racist" accusation at your expense, but I firmly believe that turning a blind eye at certain forms of racism is as harmful as overt negative discrimination. It seems as if your racial memory is short. Perhaps you are too young to remember when white comedians at virtually EVERY street corner, bar room, playground and living room told racist jokes. And this is not to mention those on stage who recited their "Rastus" and "Steppin Fetchit" gags to the howling delight of auditoriums full of whites. Blackface, anyone?

Just because YOU don't know of anyone having sex with a sibling doesn't mean it doesn't happen. There was a time, not that many years ago where such events were common. It doesn't mean it is still as common, but the image remains as a stereotype, same as the lazy, listless *****, the drunken Irishman, the sleepy Mexican peon, the greedy, money hungry Jew, the sado masochistic German, the cowardly Italian, the savage plains Indian, etc.

blacks make fun of whites and blacks
whites make fun of whites and blacks

some use race to be over the edge
some use it for awareness

its jokes. and stereotypes and there is some truth in all of it.

Its entertainment. If you don't like it, don't watch. That doesn't necessarily mean that the comedians feel that way. As long as people are paying to hear them say racist jokes, they are going to continue saying them.
