YES!!! I will ask someone else in my family to do it for me. Or I've even thrown it at the counter from across the room. LOL
I have a nervous condition like PTSD and the pop or the phone ringing or an alarm clock going off causes my adrenal gland into overload & my heart goes into fibrilation. Sometimes I faint for no apparent reason or because I've been startled by something.

ssssssssss....POP! Hooray!
other times the paper tears off in little bits OR the can doesn't POP! open. I hate that!
I have to bang it on the counter and it smashes up the biscuits!

Haha!!! I didnt know anyone else freaked out over this.
My husband jumps everytime. Since I know this, I say honey come here for a sec. and POP.. Unless he sees it in my hand and runs out too fast.

Hahaha...I hate it too for some reason! I always make my husband do it, and he makes fun of me EVERY time!!! I guess it IS kinda weird :o)

This is common for people with certain issues. Try turning up the music so the noise won't bother you. I don't care for it either. (issues...........sigh)
