Nothing is coming to mind. Can you give any more information, like maybe what they are testing for?
Heel jar test I have heard of. It is also called the Markle test. For this test you have the patient stand on their tip toes then drop down to their heels. The jarring of the body causes pain in the area of inflammation within the abdomen, usually localized to the area of the inflamed organ.

Is it perhaps an evaluation for a hiatal (or hiatus) hernia? That is the closest thing I could think of? If so, Merck defines it as a condition in which a portion of the stomach bulges and protrudes upward through an opening in the diaphragm. The diaphragm is the sheet of muscle that separates the chest from the abdomen. Hiatal hernia symptoms include heartburn, belching, difficulty swallowing, and chest pain. A weakened or enlarged hiatus (the hole in the diaphragm through which the esophagus passes) may increase the risk for developing a hiatal hernia, but a definite cause is not known.

There's no such thing as a heel jar test...

I honestly can't come up with anything. Are you sure you heard right?

Doesn't ring a bell with me and I know a lot of medical terms. Call the doc back and get them to spell it to you. Then you can find out.

Are you thinking of "hilar". That's an area where nerves and blood vessels connect to other tissue. Maybe?
