The producers are the people who secure the money to be used for a production. They also manage the money, decide how to spend it

they are the ones responsible for getting the finances for a movie or record.
they are the ones who either finance the project themselves or try to find other investors for the project and that can be any private citizen or from the corperate world which is why end credits can be sooo much longer than some other end credits
