Those that have answered about removing the reverse gear are talking hot gas, that requirement went out years ago.

In fact some large motorcycles are fitted with a reverse gear to enable them to be moved as they are so heavy.

Other than that there is no problem driving any three wheeler on a full motorcycle licence, providing it is listed as one of the authorised groups on the later type of licence.

Your in the UK right?

Then so long as you have a FULL bike license you can drive anything with 2 or 3 wheels.

No, you don't need to block of reverse or take seats out.

How do I know? When I was born my dad never had a car license, just his bike on so bought a 3 wheeler for us to go about in!

You can drive a Reliant Robin on a bike license providing you have no reverse gear. With regards to the seats you would not be able get more than two people in it anyway. The DVLC website should be able to put your mind at rest.

You don't have to tamper with it at all. I used to have and drive one on my bike license. Mine was a four seater with reverse. It's just the same as driving a car but with only three wheels. (Don't take corners too fast, it could tip over) It's the weight they go on mainly. If you check out the DVLA site you'll find that you can even drive a four wheel car as long as it's under a certain weight.

check out the small print on the back of your licence pretty sure you can drive one on a bike license but as people have written have a care going around corners cos they do have the annoying habit of falling over at very inconvenient moments if you get a supervan be prepared to find it standing on its back door every once in a while!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! why don,t you try and get a bond bug cos they are fun and a lot more stable ?

To drive a Reliant on a motorbike licence you fill out the motorbike insurance forms and post them. Period. Nothing else.

UNLESS THE LAW HAS CHANGED OVER THE YEARS ,ANYONE WITH A MOTORCYCLE LICENSE CAN DRIVE ANY FORM OF 3 WHEELED VEHICLE,THE BEST WAY TO CHECK IS FIND A RELIANT NUMBER PLATE AND TRY TO INSURE IT WITH YOUR M/C LICENSE,NO POINT IN ASKING THE POLICE BECAUSE THEY HAVE NO IDEA.
